New YouTube Videos!

Yes I have finally dusted off the camera and finished a couple of videos for your viewing pleasure!

First off is a video showing how crazy easy it is to make your own molds using Amazing Mold Putty. I've seen a couple of videos featuring this product but I wanted to test it out for myself. I am using it for the first time in this video and the results are awesome. Watch that video by CLICKING RIGHT HERE.

Next I show you my take on the ever popular post it note holder. With the holidays right around the corner these make great little gifts to hand out. I also used one of the items I made with mold from the previous video. How cool is that??

With the Husker Volleyball team advancing to the NCAA Regional Semifinals last night, I decided to make some Nebraska Red Post-it Note books. Click on the image below to see this video.

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #63

Today I have the first card sketch of the month from Sketch-N-Scrap. With Christmas coming up I am certainly in need of some Christmas card making inspiration. This card sketch was perfect!
When I saw the large circle I immediately thought wreath. I had purchased Tim Holtz wreath and die set sometime back and hadn't used it yet. It was fun to color the stamp with my distress markers and cut out the extra embellishments to pop up on it.

The Show is Over!

I haven't done a show on my own for many years. I forgotten what a long day it is. Getting up super early, driving over an hour, setting everything up... It was fun though. I think I actually brought too much stuff, I didn't even get to put everything out!
As you can see in the photos, I'm pretty packed. I had a lot of compliments on the set up and the fact that everything was handmade. It's sad to me that shows are going more to the mass produced made in China crafts. I take pride in selling handcrafted items.

I brought along a helper for the show. She wasn't clear on what we were doing until we got there. She thought we were going to "craft" all day. Not sell things. It was a very long day for her. Luckily Nana came and took her shopping for a while to break up her day.
On Sunday after I unpacked the car I started putting away the left overs and listing things on eBay. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the kids spent the day outside. Brileigh did however come down to my room to bring me a bouquet she put together outside.
This is my scene yesterday and today, taking photos, listing things on my site and eBay and packaging up orders.
I have a ton of stuff online so head over to my website or eBay to see what's available!

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #59

Ready for another card sketch? I have this fun one from Mandy over at Sketch-N-Scrap.
To put my card together I took two project life cards and layered them. I stamped the sentiment in the cream stripe of the top card. The flower embellishment was made with a cupcake liner that I stained and a couple flower punches.

World Card Making Day Sketch

Happy World Card Making Day! Due to the holiday, we have a special card sketch for you over at Sketch-N-Scrap. Check out what the rest of the design team came up with on the blog.
For my card, I played with an embossing folder and some inks. The red ink really makes the dot pattern from the embossing folder stick out. I mounted that piece on top of some fun red, white and black papers. The sentiment is made up of a journal card and a stamped and embossed piece on the red card stock.
I hope you have time to make a card from this sketch and share it on the SNS blog!
