Sketch N Scrap Card Sketch #90

Here is another fun card sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap.
This card came together for me easily. Using a 6x6 paper pad from My Minds Eye, Miss Caroline, I found some fun coordinating papers to use. A couple word dies later and I have a great card!

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #121

We are midway into our sketch reveals at Sketch-N-Scrap for January and I have a layout sketch that I designed for you all to use.
I used this layout for the kids picture with Santa. We had an interesting visit with Santa this year. He had an app on his phone that read kids fingerprints to see if they were naughty or nice. Now you would assume all kids would be on the nice list right? Yeah, no. Out of my three children I have one extremely emotional one. That one happened to be the one that was randomly chosen by the app to be on the naughty list. Of course there were tears and I've never seen Santa look so sheepish. After apologizes, Santa was able to "reexamine" his fingerprint and he was on the nice list after all. Whew.
Items I used in this layout:
Simple Stories • 25 Days of Christmas • Believe
Simple Stories • 25 Days of Christmas • Journal Cards
Card Stock • White
Card Stock • Cream
Ranger • Distress Ink • Walnut Stain
Ranger • Distress Ink • Peeled Paint

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #89

Today I have the first card sketch of the year from Sketch-N-Scrap. Check out what the other design team members came up with and link your take on the sketch to the SNS blog for a chance to win.
For my card, I used a base from Jillibean Soup to make a shaker card. These are fun and make shaker cards so easy. They have many different shapes but I find the circle can be used many different ways.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #120

Happy New Year! We are staring a new year off right at Sketch-N-Scrap with a great new sketch.
In our house Santa comes down the chimney and he fills the kids stockings. He then places the stockings on their doorknobs for them to find in the morning. Inside are all sorts of little fun things they like to treasure. Opening these presents keeps them busy while Mom and Dad get woke up and ready for the craziness of Christmas morning.

Echo Park • Seasons Greetings • Borders
Authentique • Wonder • Noteables
