Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #210

Back today with another card sketch I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap. There are a couple of great samples on the blog, head over to check them out and add your take on my sketch.

For my card I started with a flower die from Sizzix & Tim Holtz, Small Tattered Florals. After cutting out the flowers from 5 shades of pink, I layered them into different flowers. Using some of the leftover pink paper I created a background for the card. Once the flowers were arranged and glued down, I added the you & me sentiment from the Little B die set called Sentiments. With the amount of flowers I had created, I was able to make 3 cards with different background colors.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #241

Here is another sketch for you to play around with. I designed this one for Sketch-N-Scrap. Make sure you head over to the SNS Blog to see what the design team members did with my sketch.

It's become tradition every year that I take photos of the kids decorating the Christmas tree. When I started they could put up an ornament or two. Now I don't even have to help! For my layout I turned the sketch on it's side. Only because the paper I was using had text in the background and the pieces I had would've had the text running the wrong way. That would have drove me crazy!

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #209

Our first card sketch of the year comes from Lisa. Check out this fun sketch on the Sketch-N-Scrap blog to see what the design team members came up with using the sketch.

I needed a card for my nieces 7th birthday and this sketch gave the perfect inspiration. I added a little shaker in the middle with the hearts and the 7, because every little girl loves a shaker card.
