We decided to try something new this month at Sketch-N-Scrap. A blog hop AND bonus sketch! If you have come here from Kerry's Blog, then you are ON the right path. Once you have found the secret words head on over to the next stop on the hop, Monica's Blog. If you've come straight here and would like to play along head over to the beginning at Sketch-N-Scrap.
Here is the wonderful sketch for this hop, a perfect layout for Valentines!
I'm also having a giveaway! Leave a comment below and you will be entered to win all of the fabulous things in the photo below!
To suit my photos, I turned the sketch 90°. I wanted to use these particular photos of the kids and this was the perfect layout.
I had fun playing with different elements for this layout. I took a journaling spot and cut the center out to create a window. After layering the scallop circle and heart, I added a title banner over the piece & put a little bit of red stickles on for the finishing touch
The blue strip of paper was a little to solid for this piece, so I took a white crayon and colored over the piece so it would match the blue in the main paper better.
Items I used in this layout:
Bo Bunny • 12" Persuasion Love Notes
Bo Bunny • 12" Love Bandit Cutouts
Ranger • Walnut Stain Ink Pad
These are great photos! Love how you did the title and the coloring with the crayon! How creative, gotta remember those tricks!
