Work Tray Wednesday

I just love the Declaration collection by Pink Paislee. The bright colors mix so well together. The kids had a love hate relationship with the firecrackers this year. As displayed by Brileigh in these photos. They were so scary she had to cover her eyes, and yet she couldn't help but look!
For the title piece I cut the words lil firecracker out of red paper with my cricut. Then I covered them in Diamond stickles to help them pop of the page a bit.
This collection has a great element sticker sheet that matches the paper perfectly. When printing the photos for this layout, I left a little white around the edges to give them a nice outline.

Work Tray Wed... Oops Thursday!
Yep, I missed my Work Tray Wednesday and I'll tell you why. All summer I've been talking with family about having a garage sale. Well, Sunday morning when I was out of town, I found out we are having one today and tomorrow! Yikes! I've spent all week dragging things out of closets, pricing, boxing.... So I guess if I would have posted a picture yesterday it's caption probably would have read "Where is my work tray?"

For this layout I used a set of pictures I had just taken. The kids got a new workbench and tools from a garage sale and I thought the photos made a cute little story.
Brett's face was just priceless. He really thought he was ready to be put to work. They had been watching Handy Manny on Disney, so he knew what he was doing. Brileigh on the other hand grabbed the phone to call for help! She's seen her brothers in action!
The title piece was made with alpha stickers. I don't use alphas a lot, but it's nice when I have some that work!
