Today I have a great card sketch from Lisa over at Sketch-N-Scrap.

This was another sketch I was determined to make a shaker card out of. It's always fun to add the sequins and beads at the end and give it a good shake.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #159

The kids started school today so here we go, back on a schedule! They're pretty excited for school so in my book that's a win! Today I have the second regular layout sketch of the month from Sketch-N-Scrap.

Like I said in my August 1st post, I'm trying to catch up on this summer's photos now that school has started. As with Brett, Brileigh really got the hang of tee ball this year. And being able to coach her the last 3 years, it's been so fun to watch the progress first hand.

I have been making quite a few shaker cards lately and this was another sketch that seemed to work great for a shaker card.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #158

As we head into August we are gearing up for "back to school" in our house. So I am trying to catch up scrapping all of our summer photos. Having great sketches like this one from Lisa at Sketch-N-Scrap make it easy.

Brett has come a long way in tball and he really improved this year. It's so much fun to watch. For my layout I turned the sketch on the side to work with the photos I had. My title piece is a mix of stickers and wire that I shaped with my new Memory Keepers Happy Jig. 

Talking about my new jig, I have to say I wasn't completely aware of what I was getting. I had assumed it would come with a "map" for creating every letter in the alphabet. Instead it came with a book to make a few words and more shapes. So it has been a learning experience creating the words I want to create with it.
