Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #184

It's so close to Christmas! I hope everyone is able to enjoy some time with friends and family. If you find some spare time this holiday season, I have a fun card sketch for you designed by Lisa. Check out what the design team came up with using the sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap.

I had fun stamping and coloring some Hello Bluebird images for this card.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #215

Over at Sketch-N-Scrap today you'll find a fun 3 photo sketch from Lisa.

For my layout, I used 3 photos from the kids birthday last month. The papers I selected are from the Imaginisce line Birthday Bash. I used the same papers for my layout on the first of the month. Also, on the title piece the birthday letters were cut out of the title piece on the previous layout. A great way to use them up and have cohesiveness between the two layouts!

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #214

Happy December!
I'm back today with a sketch I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap. The design team came up with some wonderful examples so make sure to head on over to the SNS blog to check them out.

The kids had some fun parties for their birthday this year. Brileigh got to invite 4 friends for a sleepover. It is always a highlight of her year. I don't know why they call it a "sleep" over though.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #213

I hope everyone is having a wonderful November so far. Weather here has been changing weekly from cold to warm to cold. The cold weeks has me hunkered down in my craft room working on my scrapbook pages. For today's layout I used this great sketch from Stacy over at Sketch-N-Scrap.

At the end of October the kids talked me into taking them and some friends to the local haunted forest attraction. This was the first time for them ever experiencing something like this. We made it through, but there was a lot of screaming along the way!

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #210

Happy Happy October!
Isn't this a fun fall sketch from Stacy over at Sketch-N-Scrap?

So these layouts were about as much fun to do as the color run itself. I mean who doesn't love spraying ink all over? The look on the paper is pretty much what it looks like running through colored powder.

The title piece that I made was super fun as well! I used the Concord & 9th Tall Type Alphabet Dies to cut out the letters. I then put them on the sticky side of my purple tape to hold them in place while I sprayed them with the colors in rainbow order. After the ink was dry I used my Wink a Stella to add a little sparkle and finished them off with a layer of Glossy Accents.

So I was under the impression that I was ahead of the game last month. I made this layout with the one below to go together. I had every intention of getting both on the SNS blog but when I got the layouts added to my computer ready to post, I was past the deadline for my layout. So much for being ahead of the game!

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #178

We are getting settled into the new routine of school around here. Which is wonderful to have a little bit of normalcy. I've been able to squeeze out some time to work on a list of cards I need to make. Today I have one that I made using this great sketch from Lisa over at Sketch-N-Scrap.
I had a project where I needed some paper flowers, so in true fashion for me, I cut out a ton of flower/leaf shapes in different scrap papers so I'd have plenty to use on future projects. This card was one that I used them on.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #208

After a short hiatus, taking August to get the kids prepared for school, I'm back today with a sketch I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap.
My Epson Charm photo printer has decided to give out on me, so for this layout I dug through my pile of old photos. I have tons of photos of the kids so finding something to scrap with isn't hard.  I've come to depend on my photo printer though to print all of my pictures. I'm really going to miss it. What is your favorite device for picture printing? I'm going to need to replace my Epson, so let me know what printer you love!
