Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #146

Back with the last regular sketch of the month from Sketch-N-Scrap. Lisa has created a fun sketch for you to play along with.

For my card I used another stamp set I recently got from Concord & 9th. This one is called Birthday Basics Turnabout Stamp. You have a stamp that you ink and put down, then you turn your paper and ink in a second color and stamp down. Four times. That is how I created the background image for this card.

Molly our dog has gotten into some trouble lately and has had to have several vet visits. After one visit I decided to wash my car. I didn't even think about what Molly would think of going through one. Thank goodness Brileigh was also in the back seat because Molly ended up in her lap scared of what was going on outside the car.

We have our first card sketch of the month. This is one that I designed this one for Sketch-N-Scrap.

I received a new set from Concord & 9th the other day. The Fringe Frenzy Kit. I comes with the die to cut out fringed pieces, perfect for layering in color combinations. It makes me think of a pinata. Fun to play with for sure!

The Easter Bunny sure spoiled 3 certain kids this year. The weather cooperated this year as well allowing the kids to go out and seek what he brought.

Rylan and Brileigh were recently selected to have their art shown at the Museum of Nebraska Art. They were really excited to go to the museum and see their canvas's hanging on the wall.

Here is a fun card sketch made by Lisa for Sketch-N-Scrap.

For my card I flipped the it on it's side to fit better the paper flower I made a while back. I like to make embellishments in bulk to have them when I'm working on different projects. I can pull something out and use it as a starting point on a piece.

Half way through April my kiddos are starting to see the end of the school year. Me, I'm starting to see the warmer temps! In that spirit, I have a summery sketch for you that I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap.

For my layout based of the sketch, I picked a photo I snapped of my daughter. She is super embarrassed by the photo, but I think it is adorable. She thinks she needs the mask to sleep, even if it is pitch dark when she goes to bed. Silly beautiful girl.

As we head full speed into April, I have a card sketch for you that I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap.

When I was working on my layout for the April 1st post, I stamped some fun out of this world images and hand colored them with copics. I made a couple sets of these images, one set was used on the layout and another I used on this card for my nephews birthday.
