Sketch-N-Scrap Layout Challenge #220

Happy March! Today I have a 2 photo sketch that I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap.

The photos I chose for this layout are more from our first family hike on vacation. The kids had so much fun climbing the rocks!

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #188

Back today with another card sketch for you over at Sketch-N-Scrap.

For this card I did some layering of papers and used an embossing folder to add dimension to the top paper. The card is embellished with leaf die cuts in greys and silver and a paper flower accent.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #219

Stacy has a fun 2 photo layout sketch to inspire you today over at Sketch-N-Scrap.

Taking this photo has been a yearly tradition for as long as they could put ornaments on the tree. This year watching them next to the tree, I either need time to slow down or I need a taller tree!

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #187

Back today with a fun card sketch by Stacy over at Sketch-N-Scrap.

For my card I had fun playing with a new sizzix die set I had picked up called Rain Boot Planter. The flowers on the bottom are from a different thinlits set called Bold Flora.

Sketch-N-Scrap Layout Challenge #218

Back today with another sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap. Lisa has come up with a fun 2 photo layout for your inspiration.

The kids and I were able to get away for a couple days over Christmas break to Arizona. One my list of things to do was go hiking. Since the kids were first timers, I didn't want a trail that was too difficult. I ended up finding the perfect one not too far from were we stayed. The Blue Wash trail only takes a couple hours and at the end is a waterfall!

New Ebay Listings!

So here in Nebraska, we are buried in snow. The kids are going on their second day home from school. They're hoping for a week, but I told them not to hold their breath.

I've taken the extra time given to me and started listing some spring, Easter, primitive items on Ebay. I have more to list but work is calling. Hopefully I'll get more things added later today. But for now, head over to Ebay to check out what's on their now. There are a lot of one-of-a-kind items!

Here are a couple photos of some items that are listed:

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #217

I've got a fun 3 photo layout sketch for you today that I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap.
For the first time ever I purchased some gingerbread kits. The kids were set on doing them this year. They are so much fun to put together (no sarcasm there at all). But we did get them together and the kids had a blast decorating them. I suppose this will be a yearly tradition from here on.

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #185

I'm here today with another card sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap.

I myself have always stuck to the traditional rectangle card shapes. While this one is rectangle, it's a little more long than my usual card. It was fun to work with a different shape. More room for accents.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #216

Happy New Year!
Over at Sketch-N-Scrap we are starting the year off with a great sketch from Stacy!

With how things have went the last year, I was glad Brett was able to have his flag football season. He wasn't able to have a team made up of school friends, due to covid, instead he was on a team with kids he didn't know. This group of boys were able to ban together however and win the championship.

For Christmas I got a new Cricut Maker Machine. I am in love! I had been using an old Cricut I purchased in 2009. This new machine does so much more and is so accessible. I was able to cut out a layered title piece with ease along with the stars for this layout.
