Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #18

Hope you are all staying warm this winter! If you're like me your hunkered down in the craft room. If you need some inspiration, I have another card sketch for you from Sketch N Scrap.
For my card I pulled out my Big Shot Pro and the Scallop & Cupcake card Die. I used the Love die to cut out the sentiment and fussy cut some of the berries from the paper I used on the inside to embellish the card further.
Done just in time for Valentines.

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #49

Today I have fun this fun sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap. The design team has put together some amazing layouts. Make sure you head on over to the SNS blog to check them all out and upload your take.
For my layout, I pulled this Little Yellow Bicycle paper out of my stash. I bought it quite some time ago, just waiting for the kids to be old enough for tricker treating and I could scrap the moment.
I distressed the edges of all the papers leaving them white so each layer would pop off the previous. For the title I cut the lettering out then hand colored it using distress inks.
Products I used in this layout:
Little Yellow Bicycle • Booville • Ghost Gathering
Making Memories • Vintage Finding • Mini Halloween Kit
Cosmo Cricket • Haunted • Gothic
Cosmo Cricket • Haunted • Nevermore
Cosmo Cricket • Haunted • Omnious
Ranger • Stickles • Gold
Elle's Studio • Spooky Tales • Tidbits

Here is our first sketch! Don't forget to upload your take on this sketch to the SNS Blog.
For my layout, I layered some fun Christmas papers and pulled out my sewing machine. So simple, but stitching on paper adds such a nice touch.

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #17

For our first card of 2014 Kelly has drawn up this beautiful sketch. It's simplicity can lead to many different renditions. I may keep this sketch handy for a few more takes.
For my card I dug through my scrap drawer for just the right papers. I believe these are all from Pebbles, they are found on my site, Daily Special & Flower Basket. For the sentiment, I used a die and stamp from Paper Trey Ink. I absolutely love their products!
Upload your take on the sketch to the Sketch-N-Scrap website for a chance to win prizes!

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #48

Happy New Years!
What better way to spend the new year than in the your scrap room? Right?? I have the first sketch of the year right here ready for you! Head on over to Sketch-N-Scrap to upload your take on this sketch for a chance at winning!
For my layout, I chose photos of the kids from this last Halloween. We spent an afternoon decorating pumpkins. I carved and they painted. The kids had so much fun being messy!
I used some embellishments from Elle's Studio to add a little layering. Typing out my journaling keeps it neat as I don't always have good hand writing days...
For the title piece, I used my cricut to cut out the word art then I paired it with some fun thickers from American Crafts.
Products I used in this layout:
American Crafts • Thickers • Elm Rust
Card Stock • Bright Green
Elle's Studio • Lil Snippets • Happy Halloween
Elle's Studio • Spooky Tales • Tidbits
Elle's Studio • Spooky Tales • Pennants
