More New Things!

Is it spring yet?? I shouldn't be complaining as we have been having some gorgeous days lately. However, I've had to spend them indoors working. I have managed to get a couple of new items done in my spare time though. I am in the process of getting them onto my website at the moment but I wanted to give you all a sneak peek.

This set of 6 grungy brown eggs have hand stitched details. They come in a small vintage strainer. So cute! This set would look great in your kitchen! It is for sale for $20 and one-of-a-kind due to the strainer.

I was playing around with different pin keeps and zinc lids. This one is a double pin keep that comes with some pins, buttons, rusty bell and safety pin. It is $12.00

These Bunny Make-Do's are another new design for this year and I love how they turned out! Each one has a slightly different look due to the distressing and button eyes. These guys sell for $12.00 each.

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #42

For our last sketch in January, we have this beautiful card. Play along with us at Sketch-N-Scrap and post your take on the sketch to the blog.
I worked with a butterfly theme for my card, using a sizzix die to cut out the butterflies in 3 different papers. Gluing only the center of each I bent the wings up to give the card a dimensional look.

New Valentine Pieces

I made a final push this last week and got some Valentines items done. I really need to get moving on some Spring/Easter product as I have my Handmade'ns show in March.
So as for what I have recently finished, I have these 3 different heart pieces. I took the same heart pattern and created 3 very different items.

A Heart Pocket Hanger full of spring floral:
A Primitive Pillow:
Heart Hanger with Sweet Annie
These are all available on EBAY.

I also finished a couple one of a kind pieces that I took into The Country Nest, downtown Kearney today to consign.
I had a lot of fun working on these burlap panels and need to pick up some more. I tried to make two similar but very different pieces.
Thanks for stopping by!

Sketch N Scrap Card Challenge #41

Our first card sketch of the new year is a fun one! Head over to the Sketch N Scrap blog to check out what the design team did with the sketch and upload yours to the site while you are there.
My card started with the beautiful Jenni Bowlin papers I had out from another project. I grabbed a red card and went to work. I dusted the front with my ink spritzer to mute the solid red a little. The papers were all inked along the edges as well. The center embellishment was made by layering different circles I had cut out with various punches.
Thanks for looking!

Sketch N Scrap Layout Challenge #72

Happy New Year!
What better way to start off the new year than with a new fabulous sketch! Make sure to link your sketch on the SNS blog!
My layout features pictures of the triplets from their 5th birthday party.
I used quite a few papers from Basic Grey to layer up the focal point of the piece. Accenting them with stickers and a matching paper clip.
For the title I used two different alpha stickers. There is a light spritz of ink all over the cream cardstock as well. This helped break up the "solid" look of the background.
