Christmas is so close I hope everyone is ready! I have a sketch today that I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap. I hope it give you holiday inspiration.
We had a almost travesty in our house. Brileigh's kitten she got last year for her birthday got outside on accident. We live in the country with a lot of wild animals that prey on small animals like coyote and hawks. After 2 and 1/2 days Brileigh's kitten was found crying outside. We were so lucky to have a happy ending and Brileigh was so very happy to have her baby back.
To work with my photos, I turned the sketch on it's side and tweaked the title placement.
They had some interesting homecoming dress up days this year and one was Family Portrait Day. Having 3 kids in the same class made this a little easier to achieve. Brett and Brileigh got to play the parents while Rylan got to forgo the gray hair and play their son.
We've had so many fun extra card sketches this month in celebration of World Card Making Day. This sketch is one of our regular sketches of the month. Make sure you head on over to the Sketch-Sketch-N-Scrap blog to see what the design team members came up with based on the sketch.
We have been celebrating World Card Making Day at Sketch-N-Scrap all month long and there have been some great sketches to play along with. Today however I have one of our regular layout sketches of the month.
I've had these photos since the beginning of school and this sketch worked great with the photos. The second grade got moved to second floor of the school this year. That means lockers. Like the big kids. They were pretty excited.
Not that I work any less than in the summer, but it does seem like I have a couple more hours of quiet time when the kiddos are in school and that makes all the difference in the world!
So if you are like me and soon to get that all important quiet time, I have a card sketch for you to play with. I designed this one for Sketch-N-Scrap. We have a super fun prize to win this month so make sure to upload your take on the sketch to the SNS blog for a chance to win.
I am still having fun playing with my crazy birds. They're just too much fun. And I get to color with my copics. It's just a win win.
August is here, happy back to school month! (So sorry if you are a teacher wanting summer break to last forever!) Lisa has a fun sketch to play along with over at Sketch-N-Scrap. Make sure you check out all the design teams inspiration along with the great prize this month.
I pulled out a few more tball photos from this year for this layout. Brileigh improved so much from her first year. that is probably the best part of coaching, watching the progress from year to year in all of the girls.
