Continuing our fun with Homecoming week, Brileigh was just waiting for the blue and gold day so she could have her hair colored blue and gold.

For my card I stuck pretty close to the sketch and used a die for the word happy, coloring it with distress inks.

Welcome to October! Fall has finally come to Nebraska, maybe a little to harsh for some people as temperatures have swung 30 plus degrees from day to day. Now that it is colder it is easier to stay in and work on my scrap booking! Lisa has a fun sketch to work with today over at Sketch-N-Scrap.

This last week the kids got to dress up every day for Homecoming week. One day was called color wars, as every class has their own color. 3rd grade if you can't tell is purple. Brileigh had the most fun with this getting all decked out while her brothers settled for their purple class shirts.
