Sketch N Scrap Challenge #8

Here is the sketch for the Sketch N Scrap Challenge #8:

I had a lot of fun playing with this layout. The new line of paper from Pink Paislee Indigo Blue are so beautiful! The wooden letters that I used for the title are also a Pink Paislee item. They can be altered with paint, ink, stamps and so much more! I liked the look of the wood with the papers, so I only altered them slightly by smearing a little Silver Liquid Pearls on them.

As I said in an earlier blog post, I recently found some old wedding photos and these papers worked perfectly!

 I made the silver flower below with the Cosmo Cricket Glubers and a piece of Laliberi Ribbon. The lace banner I ran along the bottom is a piece from the same Laliberi package.

It is a fun match box book. The book can be mounted to the top of the box as shown in the book, or put in the drawer like I am going to do .

 This is the template to make the box shown above. The wrap around piece is a 9x4" piece of paper that is scored at 2, 3, 6 & 7", as shown in the video.

Ahhh, So in Love!

Here is the latest book in the Roxi Phillips Mini Books, Make it in Minutes. This book features a cut out on the cover. The book on the left is my book, and instead of a photo I put some sequins. I recently stumbled upon a tote full of my candid wedding photos. I also just celebrated my 11 year anniversary last week. It's about time I did something with these pictures hu? You might be seeing more of them in future projects!

This book is simple and the paper I used is so beautiful I didn't want to do embellishing. Let the paper do it's magic and the photos shine!

Mini Book 13

I'm back with another Mini Book!

I want to apologize for taking so long between books 12 & 13. When summer rolls around we spend a lot more time outside, so my crafting time shortens quite a bit!

Today's mini book is a cute little accordion fold with envelope pockets. It would make a great little brag book! Check out the video here!
