Happy mid March. I hope the weather is improving where you are. We're still buried under snow here and if you are snowed in as well I have a layout sketch for you to use while you're hunkered down. And check out what the Sketch-N-Scrap team members came up with.
We had our third Daddy/Daughter date night in our house this year. Brileigh was super excited to get dressed up, get a corsage and take her daddy dancing (and paint his nails). A super fun night for all!
Currently in Nebraska, we are experiencing major flooding, and blizzard conditions. They've pretty much shut down most highways and interstates. So I'm staying home, dreaming of spring.
Handmade'ns is around the corner and since I have some home time, I've been working on all sorts of fun stuff, including an array of different bunnies.
We finish off February's regular sketches with a card sketch from Lisa. Check out the other design team members take on the sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap.
All of the pieces I used for this card were items I had in my scrap drawer. When I'm cutting out a shape for a project I'll cut a few extra out in different colors to use on later pieces.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines day. Today I have a card sketch for you that I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap.
We recently had spirit week at school. One of the days was Meme Day. Now finding something that was easy to put together and kid friendly was a challenge. When I grew up I always loved reading the Sunday Funnies. Since my kids could talk they reminded me of the Family Circus children. Whenever I ask "Who did it" I get a chorus of Not Me, I Don't Know and Nobody.
I'm back with another card sketch for you from Sketch-N-Scrap. The design team made some fantastic cards based off my sketch, head over the the SNS blog to see what they came up with.
I've been on a shaker card trip lately. Having fun with different sizes and shapes. This card I just used a simple small oval to add a bit of shaker fun.
I have my sketch today that I designed for Sketch-N-Scrap. Make sure you check out what the design team members did with the sketch on the SNS blog.
This year we were traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday, when we usually celebrate the kids birthday. When we got home we had one day to get ready for their party. Luckily they all agreed they could share 1 cake this year taking a lot of the stress of of me! A six layered rainbow cake was agreed upon and that was what we did.
