Who's ready for another great sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap! How fun is this one? The focus is purely on the photos. Don't forget to head over to the site to upload your take for a chance to win prizes!
A little while back I had bought some encaustic paint that I had been inching to use and this was the perfect layout! If you don't know, Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. I figured out where I was going to place my photos and then used my Ranger Heat gun to melt the paint along the one side.
For my title piece I used a stamp from Little Yellow Bicycle to stamp out the word delight. Then I carefully cut out around the image and traced the stamped line with stickles. It made a fun one-of-a-kind title piece!
Products I used in this layout:
R&F • Encaustic Paints • Titanium White
Elles Studio • Bright & Vintage Pennants
Fluerettes • Fabric Flower Stickers
Little Yellow Bicycle • Everyday • Clear Stamps
