Configurations

Remember my post from a couple of days ago? Fun with molds & melts? I mentioned I was starting to work on a Tim Holtz Configurations Box. I kinda got sidetracked that day! I did however get back to the boxes. This is the first one I've ever done. I know, they've been around for a while, I've even had this one in my stash for quite some time. I took one 5.75" square box and made it into 3 separate pieces!
This is my first box:
The angel wings were made the other day while I was playing with my molds.

My second piece is made up of 3 left over boxes.

I wanted to put a tiny nest in this one so I made one quick with moss and my glue gun. Look at those teeny tiny eggs!
I colored the eggs with alcohol inks. The cream frame and the little blue bird were made with the mod melter.
Lastly I had the lid left over from the box so I made a square piece out of chipboard to glue inside the hole. Once it was painted and covered with paper it masked the fact that it's the lid.
I hope this inspires you to have some fun and create with these boxes!
